Would You Support The Legalization of Marijuana in Nigeria?

This is probably one plant with the most aliases on this planet. Many call it weed,pot, joint, herb, ganja, etc and in Nigeria, it is more known as Igbo or goof. Science orientated people like to call it Cannabis Sativa, Indica or Ruderalis.


The plant has got humongous medical uses which the law enforcement people all around the world had been in denial of but had long been applying in the manufacture of several products eg hair cream, sedatives, stroke management, cancer management therapies etc. Now, the Rastafarians, mostly found in Jamaica and some parts of Ethiopia have long pushed for the legalization of the naturally occurring plant because they believe that God gave mankind the plant for health and spiritual reasons.

Fact #1: Most marijuana users never use any other illicit drug. 

Fact #2: Most people who use marijuana do so occasionally. Increasing admissions for treatment do not reflect increasing rates of clinical dependence.
